At the heart of old woodlands, the Plessis-Bergeret site offers pleasant walks in the heart of nature.

This 8 hectare pond fed by the Astiers stream, and former property of the diocese of Luçon, was used until the 60s as a swimming pool by the Yonnais. Fairs and nautical jousting at La Ferrière were held there in a festive atmosphere. Since 2005, this site has been classified as a Remarkable Natural Area by the Department of Vendée. Its extent gives it an indisputable majestic character. Pond on one side and afforestation on the other create a variation of atmospheres particularly conducive to walking and exploring nature. Visitors can also take advantage of the renovation of the dike and the development of a 2,5 km promenade, carried out by the Department in 2014 to ensure access to the site for people with disabilities.
