1. Trailhead
Departure from the Moulin Papon sailing base.
2. Moulin Papon dam
In 1970, the city of La Roche-sur-Yon decided to build a dam on the Yon to supply the town with drinking water. Today, the plant processes 10 to 15 m000 per day. The dam, 3 m long and 246 m high, can retain up to 10 million m4.4. It releases water into the Yon depending on the rainfall in order to maintain the level of the river.
3. Moulin Papon Lake
The body of water resulting from the dam covers an area of 90 hectares. Its perimeter is 19 km and its greatest width is 500 m.
4. New Mill
Place where the lake of Moulin Papon is separated into two parts. In the north, nautical activities are prohibited, except boat fishing.
