400 m² of exhibition space invite you to discover dragonflies and their environment, the Yon valley. La Maison des Libellules welcomes you within the walls of an old presbytery, in a contemporary building with high environmental quality.
At the heart of the Yon valley in Rives-de-l'Yon (Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux), the Maison des Libellules is a place for environmental education and discovery of the yon. In summer, it offers a whole range of nature activities and outings to discover the Yon valley.
Through its 400 m² of permanent and temporary exhibitions and the 2 hectares of its natural garden, visitors can discover the fascinating world of dragonflies and enjoy privileged moments of observation between ponds and meadows in summer. The Maison des Libellules also offers many independent games. The sensory table and the barefoot path invite you to test your senses. Can you identify the different textures? If you are more adventurous, climb to the top of the pole to be climbed or let the "infernal" spinner overturn your bearings! Enjoy massive black locust games, a game of balance and dynamics: stilts, a beam… Finally, will you dare to take your place on the throne of the leprechauns?
