More than anything else, Pointe feels like a full circle for Hooveriii, who has grown from a bedroom solo project to a full-scale band comprised of an army of talented musicians.
“In many ways, Pointe feels like the epilogue to one phase of the band and the prologue to the next,” says Hooveriii.
Pointe is an album that was not recorded in a linear way: the tracks fit into each other in a way that seems almost cosmic. In other words, it's Hooveriii at its most creative and least distilled.
“I'm not really concerned with trying to push the limits,” admits the singer, however, reflecting on the band's long journey.
“What's important to me is making a good album that sounds cohesive - and I feel like with this one we've done a good job. »

MARS RED SKY:

Mirror effects, reversals, double acts... This fifth studio effort from the pillars of the French heavy psychedelic scene MARS RED SKY presents a conceptual work skillfully designed to make the listener evolve in a moving, unpredictable and even completely confusing sound universe. The Bordeaux trio explores progressive and post-metal territories that suit them perfectly. The miracle recipe of jagged vocals / shattering rhythm is embellished with acoustic passages, drones, half-kraut, half-gothic effects. The atmospheres and settings are finely crafted and linked by the voice of Julien Pras who brings a tasty pop languor. The music is here master of the narration, it absorbs all the elements and transforms them into a sort of reversible allegory, as attractive as it is disturbing. The tour de force of “Dawn Of The Dusk” lies in its ability to construct a unique creative space in which we evolve with wonder.

The album is designed to be read in one go, its creation making them follow one another quickly. The last three titles form a triptych.
