With elegance and modesty, the Algerian singer and guitarist, often considered the most beautiful female voice in North Africa, comes to share on stage her humanist determination and her hopes.

After more than 15 years of career, the spiritual daughter of Joan Baez, lulled by the music of Dylan, Cohen, Springsteen (“Nebraska” period), presents her 10th album Sequana. A collection of 11 songs, including 9 written and composed by herself, which attempt to capture the passage of time and the essential – what we must preserve and transmit. This album displays a diversity of musical styles distilled with delicacy, rock, folk, calypso, bossa, reggae, sounds of the Orient or the Algerian desert. In Souad Massi's tone, beautiful and deep, we sometimes hear accents of fado, a nostalgia that never gives way to sorrow, even in the heaviest of exiles.
