Points of interest

1. Trailhead

Departure from the Aubigny sports hall car park.

La Charrie

2. The Charrie

Pleasantly landscaped place with its rose garden, its old houses, its bodies of water and its ford.

Mortevieille

3. Deadvigil

After the place called Mortevieille (in the XNUMXth century, it was a village of tanners and saddlers), we can see the Pissette fountain. Probably built in the XNUMXth century by the inhabitants of the locality, it takes its name from its perpetual flow.

4. The Wooden Cross

It is a marine Pliocene geological zone: red sands, rolled pebbles. Be careful when crossing departmental road 36 at a place called La Croix du Bois.

Le Petit Bois

5. The Small Wood

Former noble house, place cited in 1681 and 1690.

Le Moulin des Landes

6. The Landes Mill

This name is recent, because on the old cadastres and Cassini map, there is always mention of the Moulin de l'Eratière, of which there are no more traces.

La Grandinière

7. La Grandiniere

La Grandinière or Grondinière, property of the monks of Fontenelles, sold with the abbey in 1791.

8. Le Landreau

Former noble mansion cited in 1469. In the 1757th century, the Frappiers called themselves Sieurs du Landreau. This village is known for the birth, in XNUMX, of Luc-Augustin Bacqua, future surgeon in Nantes, who will carry out the first caesarean where the mother and the child will have survived. According to the oral tradition, there is an underground whose the inhabitants of the village filled the entry.
