La Roche-sur-Yon Agglomeration is rich in a long history.

At the end of Napoleon's founding decree of May 25, 1804 establishing the new capital, the engineers of the Ponts et Chaussées built this city using neoclassical architecture for the most emblematic monuments.

Thus, La Roche-sur-Yon is a city rich in heritage. The numerous monuments that make it up allow us to trace the history of the city, from the Renaissance House built in 1566, a vestige of the medieval period, to the present day.
