Ideal for a stay with family or friends, in a quiet area, in a charming little hamlet made up of a castle and its outbuildings, on a magnificent site, adorned with hundred-year-old trees (14 ha of park, woods and meadows punctuated by large alleys), the Logis des Ponnes, with a surface area of ​​180 m2, welcomes you, for a comfortable stay, in the heart of nature, close to many activities (edges of the Yon, beach, leisure parks, golf, horse riding ...) It has 3 bedrooms (2 with a 140 bed and 1 with 4 90 cm beds) and 2 bathrooms) and can accommodate 8 people in total.

Our prices are available on lagirardiere-vendee.fr. They include household linen (sheets, towels, bath mats and tea towels), end-of-stay cleaning and all charges (water, electricity, wifi, heating).

A large shared heated swimming pool of 13,5 x 5 m is at your disposal, from April to October (it is not in use the rest of the year). It has a large shelter which can be completely removed. It is very pleasant to bathe from April and also in low season because the shelter is large and perfectly retains heat. When the sun is shining, we fully discover the pool and you swim in a beautiful green setting.

Access to the entire property is free (park, woods, meadows). The roads are more than 500 m away and the calm is absolute. It is not uncommon to see deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds depending on the season.
The park is planted with sequoias, blue cedars, weeping Himalayan pines, silver lime trees, purple ash trees, magnolias, walnut trees, chestnut trees, yews, ... The wood is planted with oaks, hornbeams, beeches, chestnut trees, hazel trees,. .. Many alleys allow you to walk there.

The sky at night is absolutely magnificent. The property is also located very close to the observatory of the Astronomical Center of Vendée, which is installed there due to the absence of light pollution and a mild temperature throughout the year.

The banks of the Yon are directly accessible on foot from the hamlet: they offer a pleasant walk in all seasons and in summer, they allow you to cool off in the shade of the trees, with your feet in the water of the river. . Fishing is possible.
Many other routes by bike and on foot are also possible.

Nearby: possibility of horse-drawn carriage rides and hikes with donkeys.

Your pets, dogs and cats are welcome: they will find all the space they need to be happy.
We also have the possibility of accommodating your horses, in a large meadow with shelter.
