The Yonnaise Tribe, a new brewery, has opened its doors in the historic premises of the former museum of La Roche-sur-Yon. Behind this ambitious project, we find Sacha Wrobel, restaurant manager, who shares with us his vision of a warm, accessible, and unifying place.

A modernized and lively brewery

The Yonnaise Tribe stands out with a strong concept, « a modernized Parisian brasserie« . Far from stuffy clichés, the place aims to be warm and welcoming, a space where all generations can meet around a simple, effective, and authentic dish. The brasserie can accommodate up to 200 guests on the ground floor.

In terms of decor, the place pays homage to the building's former life, with many eye-catching paintings in the different rooms of the brewery. Modernity is also told with the integration of new technologies: living paintings animated by artificial intelligence, mixing history and innovation.

« We want everyone to be able to enjoy the place, regardless of their budget." Here, everyone should be able to find their place, whether it's a young couple sharing a burger or a customer opting for a more elaborate meal.

The menu will showcase French gastronomy with iconic dishes such as eggs mayonnaise, snails and a beautiful entrecôte. « It’s authentic tradition, really simple, just how we like it! «  He added.

A kitchen at the center of everything

The restaurant's layout is one of La Tribu Yonnaise's great strengths: the kitchen occupies the center of the space, allowing customers to see the cooks at work. « It’s much more pleasant for our teams, who don’t work in a closed space without windows. And it strengthens the bond with our customers.«  explains Sacha.

This architectural choice also reflects their approach, which they naturally want to highlight: everything is homemade, with a maximum of products from local producers.

An address to boost the city center

The project is not limited to a culinary experience. There is a real demand in La Roche for this kind of place ". La Tribu Yonnaise aims to be a real place of life, punctuated by the moments of the day: Breakfast in the morning, lunch at noon, lemonade in the afternoon for a gourmet or refreshing break and dinner in the evening.

The bar area upstairs, with its rooftop above the veranda, is designed to extend the evenings in a friendly and festive atmosphere. Open until 1:30 in the morning, hosted by DJ sets, this new space promises to become an unmissable event for lovers of lively evenings.

The establishment can also host private and professional events, with tailor-made services: seminars, privatization of rooms, or even an exclusive bar for a day. “We can do everything and adapt to every request«  confirms Sacha.

A unique story

It all started on a farm in Les Herbiers, transformed into a first brewery, La Tribu Herbretaise. A few months later, the adventure continues in La Roche-sur-Yon, in the old museum, completely renovated to accommodate this ambitious project.

This historic building, dormant for years, finds new life in their hands. With their long-time architect, they make it a place where past and present coexist harmoniously.

La Tribu Yonnaise is also a name that tells this story: Tribu, for the family and unifying spirit, and Yonnaise, in homage to the city that welcomes them.

An ambition turned towards the future

While the La Roche-sur-Yon project is coming to fruition after months of work, La Tribu does not intend to stop there. "Les Sables d'Olonne could be our next destination," confides Sacha.

With its family spirit and modern vision, La Tribu Yonnaise promises to become a must-see for all Yonnais residents.
