The Oriole Gardens, a haven of peace and serenity, invites you on a sensory journey to the heart of the Orient a few minutes from La Roche-sur-Yon. 🚗🚴♂️ This 5-hectare family garden, designed in an Anglo-Chinese style, is a space where nature and philosophy meet to offer a unique experience to visitors. ✨🌸
A design inspired by nature
Lovers of flowers and plants from around the world will be able to admire, along the way, more than 2500 varieties of plants from here and elsewhere (lotus, water lilies, bamboos, hydrangeas, roses, fuchsias, camellias... rare shrubs and trees). 💐🌷🌹🌺💮 So many invitations to travel and daydream. Japan, Burma, China, Tibet, Java, Bali, are all worlds to discover. 😊
When history is written in the Jardins du Loriot
Children and adults are invited to “The Forest of Princess Moon” 🌙 to solve the 36 puzzles of “The Tale of the Old Bamboo Cutter”. 🎍 Japan is also in the spotlight at the belvedere where the famous Japanese carp “koi nobori” float in the wind during certain events. 🎏
Your Burmese star sign is located at the “Celestial Kiosk” overlooking a rose garden, the orchard, the square gardens and the vegetable garden. 10 water lily and lotus ponds evoke the friendship between Georges Clemenceau and Claude Monet.
And very soon, five monumental statues inspired by the legend of Sun Wukong, will be part of this setting of history and nature. 🐉🔮
A space for everyone
Whether you are a lover of Asian culture, a seeker of tranquility or simply looking for a break from the hectic pace of city life, the Jardins du Loriot are an excellent choice. 😁 A space that welcomes everyone looking to reconnect with nature and find inner peace. 🕊
