Since 1975, the Hospital Center has been developing sensory gardens for therapeutic purposes over an area of more than 40 hectares.

This original initiative is attributed to the green spaces department in conjunction with the medical and administrative teams. It is necessary to go beyond the apprehension of the psychiatric universe to discover a very wooded park where the plant harmoniously accompanies the building, with particular attention to the treatment of the needs of the patients.

The differentiated management, with zero phytosanitary products, was reinforced in 2010 by the signing of an agreement with the LPO, which awards the Hospital Center the qualification of a biodiversity conservation area called "LPO refuge".

It can only be visited on certain events.
