La Roche-sur-Yon Agglomeration is rich in a long history.
At the end of Napoleon's founding decree of May 25, 1804 establishing the new capital, the engineers of the Ponts et Chaussées built this city using neoclassical architecture for the most emblematic monuments.
So, La Roche-sur-Yon is a rich city thanks to its heritage. The many monuments that make it up allow us to retrace the history of the city, from the Renaissance House built in 1566, a vestige of medieval times, to the present day.
