LeYonnais Games Festival, better known as FLY, is the very first games festival organized in La Roche-sur-Yon, and it is already establishing itself as the biggest gaming event in Vendée. For three days, August 28, 29, and 30Young and old alike are invited to come and discover, test and play a very large number of games for free, in a friendly and family atmosphere.
A free, popular and family-friendly festival
Organized by the associationEmagame in partnership with The Prince's EyeThe Yonnais Games Festival takes place at two iconic locations in the city: the Oudairies Exhibition Park and the BAM, the Guinguette ParkAccess is completely free, allowing all audiences, families, casual players or enthusiasts, to fully enjoy the event.
The festival spans three days of festivities spread across two venues, with the added bonus of two extended evening events until midnight at the Park Guinguette.
In the heart of the Parc Expo des Oudairies, numerous game tables are set up and run by volunteers or representatives from game publishers. Their mission: to explain the rules in just a few minutes so that every visitor can quickly try out a new game. Thanks to this setup, FLY festival-goers can discover and test a wide variety of board games throughout the day.
A youth center designed for the youngest children
Le FLY also a large place for families with its youth center, dedicated to games and toys for children. Some publishers and distributors are present, alongside volunteers and early childhood specialists, to help young children discover new games adapted to their age.
Under a large tent, the Festival Main Shop offers for sale all the games discovered on site. Once a favorite has been found during a test game, each visitor can leave with their new favorite game.
Breathe between games with therelaxation area furnished with tables, deckchairs, benches and chairs: a real playful square where you can take the time to relax before setting off to discover a new play experience.
From 19 p.m. until midnight, the Park Guinguette takes over with two themed evenings open to all audiences:
Friday : a giant werewolf, with paid registration for players, and free access for visitors.
Saturday : a giant bingo, with paid registration (card) for players, and free access for visitors.
Two festive evenings enlivened by Clément Lanoue, host on FUN Radio From 18pm to 21pm, to guarantee a high-energy atmosphere until the end of the night.
