Throughout the duration of Easter holidays at Talmont CastleFrom Monday to Friday, guided activities are offered starting at 10:30 am. It's the ideal way to spend an immersive day in the heart of the Middle Ages.

The Easter egg hunt

On Easter weekend, April 5th and 6th, the castle will be transformed into a giant playground for a life-size Easter egg huntAs a family, embark on a hunt for colored eggs hidden throughout the castle. Find the right combination and leave with your chocolatey reward! The activity takes place from 10:30 am to 18 pm (last entry at 17 pm) and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.


Falconry demonstration

Twice a day, at 11:30 and 15:30 AMThe company Theft on Stage invites you to an open-air bird show. Eagles, falcons, and other birds of prey will spread their wings before your eyes for an unforgettable experience, suitable for all ages. The show lasts approximately 30 minutes.


Guided tours of the castle

À 14:15 and 16:15 AMA guide will take you back in time through more than 1,000 years of history. From the moat to the top of the keep, every stone of the castle tells the story of the Dukes of Aquitaine and the powerful lords who lived there. The tour lasts approximately one hour.


The Knights' Quest: A Family Treasure Hunt

Available everydayThis treasure hunt is especially recommended for children of 6 to 12 year-oldsArmed with a notebook and pencil, the young adventurers explore the castle in search of clues to solve the riddles. An hour of fun wandering in an exceptional historical setting.


Weekend: self-guided tour

The castle is open to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays. at your own paceNo guided tours are available. A printed guidebook, available in several languages, can be obtained at reception. This is a perfect option for families who wish to explore the fortress independently.
